Meet Sweeny Texas’ Favorite Dental Team

Karron, Office Manager

Karron’s career in dentistry spans an impressive 35 years. She has her AAS degree from Brazosport College and studied dentistry at Tulsa Tech. In addition to her managerial duties, she is a Certified Dental Assistant and regularly attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest techniques. She loves being able to help folks in the community find affordable ways to achieve dental health. Working and serving people in the town she lives in is such as a blessing!

Karron has been a Brazoria County resident for 34 years. She is married and has two wonderful sons and an amazing grandson. She spends her free time listening to music, camping, gardening, and being with good friends.

Megan, Registered Dental Assistant

Megan’s career in the dental field covers five years so far. Originally from Alvin, she studied at Alvin Community College and has also received military training at Fort Sam Houston. She is certified in CPR and BLS through the American Heart Association. She’s so proud to be part of such an awesome team of coworkers here at Sweeny Family Dental, and the patients are great too!

When she isn’t busy at work, you can usually find Megan spending lots of quality time with her family. She loves the outdoors and animals, particularly horses. She has a chicken farm and is a volunteer for the SPCA, regularly fostering baby kittens. She’s also a happy dog mom and an avid book reader.

Samantha, Registered Dental Assistant

Samantha has worked in the dental field for four years so far, and she genuinely enjoys being able to help patients feel great about their smiles and also stay comfortable in the treatment chair. She earned her education from Victoria College.

Originally from Victoria, Samantha is married with a beautiful daughter. Her hobbies include traveling, fishing, reading, and shopping at Hobby Lobby. Something interesting about her: she actually lived in Alaska for four years after high school!

Dana, Registered Dental Hygienist

Dana hails from right here in Sweeny, and she’s worked in dentistry for nearly 15 years so far. She attended Wharton County Junior College for her education and is certified in CPR. She really enjoys that her job allows her to stay close to home and regularly interact with people she already knows from the community.

Dana is the proud mother of twin daughters and has been married for almost 13 years. When she has free time, she enjoys cheering on her twins at their softball games, hunting, and spending quality time with family. She’s actually a twin herself, and all of her sisters (including her sister-in-law) are dental hygienists too!

Donna, Registered Dental Hygienist

Donna’s career in the dental field covers over 15 years so far – in fact, she decided in the 7th grade that she wanted to be a hygienist! Her aunt and two of her sisters also have the same job, so it must run in the family. She completed her degree at Wharton County Junior College. What she loves most about her role at Sweeny Family Dental is getting to work in her local community and take such good care of patients!

Outside of work, Donna and her husband have two sons who both play baseball, so a lot of their free time is spent watching their games. They also love cheering on the Astros and doing various activities around their land.

Nicole, Registered Dental Hygienist

Nicole has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for the past 3 years. She has been part of our team here at Sweeny Family Dental for over a year now! She is originally from the Austin area, but has been in the Sweeny area for 5 years. She has earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M in Health and an Associate’s Degree from Wharton County Junior College in Dental Hygiene. She is very passionate about oral health and its connection to overall wellness. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know her patients and building relationships with them while improving their overall health through cleanings. Not being a Sweeny native herself, her job here at Sweeny Family Dental has really made her feel like part of the community and makes Sweeny feel like home for her!

When she isn’t at work, Nicole loves to saltwater fish, ride her horses, and just relax with her 2 dogs and husband. She tends to stay busy working on projects on her land and loves to spend as much time outdoors as possible!

Terry, Front Desk Coordinator

Terry has worked in the dental field for over 20+ years. Originally from Bay City she moved to Sweeny about 9 years ago. She started out as a dental assistant and now enjoys working the front desk greeting and visiting with patients. She is a proud wife and mother of 2 kids and a great son-in-law and 3 wonderful granddaughters. She loves working close to home.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, camping, fishing and anything outdoors. She also enjoys painting when she has time.
