Intraoral Cameras
Our intraoral cameras will help take some of the mystery out of your dental care. Instead of us just telling you about what we see in your mouth, we can actually show you. This small, wand-like instrument can capture close-up, high-resolution images of your teeth and gums we can display on a monitor right in the treatment room. These can serve as excellent visual-aids when talking about the current state of your dental health as well as any treatments you might need, ensuring that you and Dr. Funk are always on the same page.
3D Cone Beam Imaging
When planning a more advanced treatment like dental implant placement, we need a little more information than what a traditional X-ray can tell us. Rather than putting a patient through a CAT scan, our 3D cone beam scanner provides the perfect middle ground. It’s able to generate a highly-detailed three-dimensional X-ray image of the teeth, jaw, and surrounding oral structures, helping Dr. Funk create a precise treatment plan that guarantees a procedure’s success.
All-Digital X-Rays
X-rays help our team find and identify dental problems before they are even visible to the naked eye, and to make this tool as safe and effective as possible, we’ve gone fully digital. Compared to traditional film X-rays, digital X-rays take much less time to create images, are able to capture more detail, and they even emit much less radiation—up to 90% less! We can also quickly display these images on a nearby monitor so you can go over and better understand them with Dr. Funk.
